I felt him move within me for all his little life, i knew when he was happy, asleep , full of energy. He filled my heart with love and joy but i was never able to see it in his eyes or hear him call me mummy. I held him but i knew he was on his way to heaven even as i said goodbye. But he will forever be my brave much loved son.

We have shared our tears and our sorrow
we have given encouragement to each other
given hope for a brighter tomorrow
we share the title of GRIEVING MOTHER ~~
Some of us lost older daughters or sons
who we watched grow over the years
some have lost their babies before their lives begun
but no matter the age, we cry the same tears ~~
We understand each others pain
the bond we share is very strong
with each other there is no need to explain
the path we walk is hard and long ~~
Our children brought us together
they didn't want us on this journey alone
they knew we needed each other
to survive the pain of them being gone ~~
So take my hand my friend
we may stumble and fall along the way
but we'll get up and try again
because together we can make it day by day ~~
We can give each other hope
we'll create a place where we belong
together we will find ways to cope

Alternative Mothers Day
Another Mother's Day,
But a different one this year.
For you see, I am a Mother,
But my child isn't here.
I am a Mother who is hurting
For this child who was so dear,
As I face this and other occasions,
Each and every year.

MOTHERS DAY MESSAGE
A kiss to you on Mother’s Day, a hug from me to you.
I know that you are sad sometimes, I know that you are blue.
Please wipe away that tear, put on a happy face,
For I am with God in heaven now, Oh Mummy, what a wonderful place.
God gave me wings so I could fly, they are white, with a hint of blue.
I’m a big boy, Mummy, with these wings of mine.
They carry me down to visit you.
God is teaching me how to catch your prayers.

WHAT MAKES A MOTHER?
I thought of you and closed my eyes and prayed to God today,
I asked what makes a Mother and I know I heard him say.
A Mother has a baby, this we know is true,
But God can you be a Mother, when your baby's not with you?
Yes, you can, he replied with confidence in his voice,
I give many women babies, when they leave it’s not their choice.
Some I send for a lifetime and others for a day,
And some I send to feel your womb but there's no need to stay.
I just don't understand God I want my baby here!
He took a breath and cleared his throat and then I saw a tear.
I wish I could show you what your child is doing today,
If you could see your child smile with other children and say...
We go to earth to learn our lessons of love and life and fear,
My Mummy loved me oh so much, I got to come right here.
I feel so lucky to have a Mum who had so much love for me,
I learned my lesson very quickly, and My Mummy set me free.
I miss my Mummy oh so much but I visit her each day,
When she goes to sleep, on her pillow's where I lay.
I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek and whisper in her ear,
Mummy don't be sad today, I'm your baby and I'm here.
So you see my dear sweet one your children are ok,
Your babies are in my home and this is where they'll stay.
They'll wait for you with me until your lesson there is through,
And on the day that you come home, they'll be at the gates for you.
So now you see what makes a Mother, it's the feeling in your heart,
It's the love you had so much of, right from the very start.
Though some on earth my not realize until their time is done
Remember all the love you have and know that you are a special Mum!

There is perfect joy and beauty

You Walk Beside me Every Day.
The days are long without you here, I've sat and cried a thousand tears,
that cruel fate did my life destroy and take away my lovely boy,
but you can wipe my tears away; you walk beside me every day.
The looming years that, more or less, just fill me with unhappiness,
are speckled with some happy times, when rainbows brighten up the skies.
I know you're never far away; you walk beside me every day.
There will be anniversaries and celebrations that you'll miss,
Oh, Angel, how we'll miss you then, your booming laugh, your cheeky grin.
But you'll be there, you'll find a way, you walk beside us every day.
Sometimes I dream that I'm awake and find it's all a big mistake,
That you are here, you're safe and well! With hugs and smiles and tales to tell!
And in my mind I hear you say, "I walk beside you, every day."
The road ahead is hard and steep, with hills to climb and furrows deep,
and life will never be as good as when you, here beside us, stood.

I walk to remember the steps you'll never take.
I carry you with me as I firmly plant my feet.
Our trek started long ago, before my belly swelled.
You were a love that grew - like butterfly wings that beat.
Your gentle flutters then became kicks upon which I would dwell.
And I would talk to you, sweet babe, about the world you soon would meet.
The sun always shone upon us then, when you were in my womb.
And I was eager to show you the world that would have been your home.
How you'd have loved the sun shining, blue skies without a cloud.
The autumn leaves turning, the snow falling all around.
